Explore Pigeon Island National Park to discover an area rich in history and natural beauty. This island was artificially connected to the mainland in the 1970s and has since become a landmark of St. Lucia. Rich in history and occupied by Amerindians, pirates, and the British over the centuries, the island still houses numerous remains of forts, barracks, and other military buildings. Climb to the highest points within the park for panoramic views, look for scenic spots for a picnic, or use one of two sandy beaches to swim, snorkel, and lounge on the tranquil waterfront. • Peaceful sanctuary. This can be an ideal spot to come and relax. Enjoy the luscious greenery and sounds of the waves of the ocean nearby. Here you can simply be at peace.
  • An interesting place to spend a couple of hours exploring and appreciating the beautiful views of St Lucia. Probably appreciated by us parents more than our teenage son and ten year old daughter to be fair. but if staying in the area it is worth igoring the moaning in order to stretch the legs. Can be reached by walking along the shore lines of the beaches which helps in the Summer if needing to cool down.
