In the 18th century the French Perinet family settled on the land that is home to the modern wine-growing project that bears their name. Perinet winery started out in 1998 and was reinvented by its new owners in 2014.

The Perinet estate covers over 35 hectares, planted with the Grenache, Carignan, Shiray, Cabernet and Merlot grape varieties on steeply-sloping terraces of llicorella. Our wines are made at Perinet Winery in the DOQ Priorat and Clos Maria winery in the DO Montsant. Perinet is where the past meets the future.

We visited in June 2022 and had the most wonderful time. Carlotta led our tasting and tour and she was so engaging, knowledgeable and gracious. We could not have felt more welcome! We had our children with us as well and they were actively and enthusiastically included the whole time, very family friendly. The vineyards are stunning to see and the wine is beyond delicious. The whole facility was so interesting and the barrel room was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend making the trip to Priorat to visit.

We had a wonderful time at the winery! A family member had recommended it and boy was he right. The tour was amazing. Our two young kids enjoyed the alcohol free tasting, were super engaged through the visit asking questions, marveling at everything Anastasiia thoroughly explained and learning. I also enjoyed the adult version tasting very much. We ended the visit with a new appreciation for wine, the science and art behind it, and all the labor that goes into each harvest. A special shout out to Anastasiia and Carlotta. They did EVERYTHING in their power to get us to Barcelona when we had car trouble. Thanks to them we were able to get to our destination and we are very grateful. Can’t recommend it enough!
