Crazy legend about kissing the Lions butt. Watch a few tourists trying to climb the pole. Fun to just sit and watch the crowds.

If you ever find yourself walking down Placa Sant Felix and happen to pass L'hostal de la Lleona, take a moment to look for stone column with a sculpture of a decorative lion, that looks like it’s climbing up. Kiss that lion's behind cause it might just save your life. No … just kidding. This is another one of those rub/kiss a sculpture thing that supposedly brings good luck. Go ahead if you believe in that kind of thing. There's also a plaque near the lion describing I think the origin of this superstition (in Spanish).
