Vlasina Lake is a semi-artificial lake in Southeast Serbia. Lying at an altitude of 1211m, with an area of 16sqkm, it is the highest and largest artificial lake in Serbia. It was created in 1947–51 when the peat bog Vlasinsko blato was closed off by a dam and submerged by the waters of incoming rivers, chiefly the Vlasina.

  • Beautiful nature, but in my opinion, everything is left to that. Modern facilities and accommodation are missing. There are bungalows and "hotels" that are at the level of the 70s of the last...  more »
  • Its so peaceful and there is a lot of green around. Lake js okay for swimming also, so i rec omend it if you want to enjoy  more »
