The curative Palic Lake features spa facilities, entertainment, and boating opportunities, surrounded by lush vegetation of oak trees and colorful plants. Stretching across 3.8 sq km (1.5 sq mi) of land, the lake has an average depth of 2 m (6.6 ft) and is a breeding ground for 61 known species of birds, including Mediterranean Gulls. Here you can spend your day cycling by the water, hiking, and birdwatching, or head to some of the region's famous restaurants and cafes that serve both traditional and Western meals. Snap photos of the Art Nouveau buildings in the surrounding areas and relax to the sounds of nature.
