  • A wonderful museum. While it has some exhibitions relating to art, don't be misled by the name into thinking that it is all about art alone. There is also a great gallery about Yugoslavian and Vojovodina's history of the twentieth century. You will get a great understanding of what happened in Serbia during the first world war, the inter war period, the second world war and thereafter. Last but not the least, it has an amazing garden on the ground floor too. Andddd... It's free to visit! No entry fee!
  • This is one of the hidden gems of Novi Sad. It has a deep and rich exhibit about the hardships and suffering endured by Serbian during the World Wars. There is a historical section which contains artifacts from World War I and information about its history. The other portion of the museum is modern art which has various mediums from different artists. There is no entrance fee but the museum is still well-kept and a great way to spend a couple hours.
