As one of the three towers on the national flag and coat of arms, Cesta Tower serves as one of the most well-known architectural buildings in the city-state. Built in the 13th century on the highest of Mount Titan's peaks, this tower generally receives less attention than the more developed Guaiti. Today the tower serves as a museum to honor Saint Marinus, the first person to build upon Mount Titan, which ultimately led to the creation of the independent republic of San Marino. Follow the trail between the two accessible towers (Cesta and Guaita) and climb the steps of the tower for panoramic views of the city.
