Portinho da Areia Sul is one of the nicest beaches for families in Peniche. It has various rocks and grottos for exploration, and the small harbour is great for cliff diving, or fishing. The water is generally cold, but that doesn't stop the kids and grown-ups from having a great time.

Wonderful little beach, nice scenery, there is a restaurant/cafe nearby but no restrooms... No lifeguard either. Its a local beach so it's usually quiet here.
