  • We were driving from Madaba to Aqaba and had Jordan passes so stopped here for a coffee and clean toilet. The coffee was expensive and the toilets weren't clean. The exhibits were mildly interesting.....  more »

  • The museum is OK, the whole experience of getting there is what makes it really special. The drive along Dead Sea, the constant wadi estuaries (which can be very frightening in the rainy season as you expect any second to see a tsunami coming) & the rocky mountains offer an unforgettable experience. In the museum you will learn how salt has been earned. It's very interesting as salt has been called white gold thousand years ago. Historians even argue that words like soldiers come from "salt" as they were paid with salt back then.
