Home to the most significant public art collection in the country, National Museum of Western Art specializes in Impressionism. Established in 1959, the museum features a main building designed by widely revered French architect Le Corbusier, and is a work of art in its own right. Immerse yourself in two floors of diverse works, taking special note of the 58-piece Rodin collection, alluded to by the trio of sculptures located outside the museum. Stop by the shop for an extensive collection of some 3,000 books on art and design, or drop into the onsite cafe to grab some refreshments. • got tickets for the Picasso exhibition and managed to see the permanent collection as well. It’s pretty crowded ard this period so it’s best to schedule for 9:30 entry when it opens
  • You can enjoy the ueno park and visit the museum too. Love this space!
