Create an itinerary including Yoyogi Park
Enjoy strolling and relaxing surrounded by trees at Yoyogi Park, one of the capital's largest green spaces. A big patch of vegetation surrounded by urban sprawl, the park boasts many fountains, ponds, and well-manicured lawns. You'll find that the park features fewer cherry trees than you might expect, instead including a huge swathe of gingko trees. Afterwards, you can kick back on a park bench or on the grass and amuse yourself with the many street performers and musicians that frequent the area. • This vast, lush area is the green lung of Harajuku, a lively shopping paradise in Tokyo. Yoyogi Park is serene, peaceful and free of tourist crowds. While still in the city, visitors can enjoy a bit.....  more

  • Such a nice park to roam around specially during the fall weather. It was a nice slightly cold, slightly warm temperature. The park is huge and family friendly. They even have separate play areas for pets. There is a huge ground where you can play games like catch, badminton, etc. Benches all around to just sit and relax. Many people were even enjoying picnics on the grounds.
  • A spacious and fairly picturesque park we visited after visiting Meiji Jingu shrine. There seemed to be a lot going on and it's a great place to walk around and take in the Tokyo crowd. While we were there, there was a music festival going on which looked like a lot of fun! Would recommend a visit if in the area!
