Chiesa dell'Addolorata, Sorrento

During my recent trip to Sorrento my family and I stumbled upon this exhibit and it was absolutely amazing! We left with a handful of beautiful photo prints that hang in our homes. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Walking along the characteristic Via Cesareo, in the historic center, you will come across this typical Baroque building, whose construction dates back to the first half of the 18th century. Very nice brick floor with floral designs. The wooden statue of Our Lady of Sorrows is placed on the main altar. The altars of the two side chapels house 18th century paintings depicting the Holy Family and the Holy Trinity. We visited the church on the occasion of an exhibition of Sorrento-style inlay works.
