  • You can wall around the walls of Lucca. It is about 4km long and should take about 1 hour. It does not cost anything. There are a number of gates in the wall and entry points onto the walls. You can see across different parts of the city. There are a number of bars and restaurants on the walk. There is plenty of places to sit in the shade.
  • An incredible place for a walk, jog or casual bike ride. The walls are from the medival period and are incredibly well preserved. There is a really nice and wide path all along the top. It is free of charge and totals a distance of roughly 2.5 miles or 4 kilometers. There are also several bars and restaurants along the path.
