I liked the entrance path. Cave was smaller but surprised me with the ancient paintings and varied beautiful dripstones. Our guide was also very nice and friendly :-)

Be careful, we went in and the gate was accidentally closed behind us. WE WERE TRAPPED IN THE CAVE FOR OVER AN HOUR!!. The other guide, Piero, left with a lady so no one to let us out. No safety measures, no spare key, no 2 way radios, nothing. The gate locks automatically on closure. This was very concerning, if you go, make sure there are some safety measures, or you may be stuck overnight.

I’m sure the grotto is great, but make sure you call ahead to book a English tour guide. You can not go in without a guide!
