Touch a piece of ancient Jewish history among scores of devoted worshippers at Western Wall, built by King Herod in 19 BCE. The structure serves as an important landmark to modern Jews, who consider it a holy prayer site. Many visitors slip handwritten notes into the cracks in the wall, believing that prayers requested in this manner receive special consideration. Wear modest clothing here, covering your shoulders and knees out of respect for the site and the worshippers who come to pray there. PutWestern Wall into our Jerusalem holiday site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • One of those places that you must go if you make it to Jerusalem. Clean and serene an experience that will change your life. Experience one of the holiest site in Jewdaism. If you have yet to see it come, dress responsible, and modest. They won't let you in if you're showing too much skin. Also you should act responsible 😉 this is in the end of the day a holy site.
  • I'm not jewish, nor a religious person, so not so meaningful to me, but still interesting place to see in terms of culture and history.
