  • A nice little hike to the cave. Don't forget to bring a flashlight. We saw a lot of bats. Afterwards we walked to the stone slide. It was lots of fun especially sliding down with a flattened plastic bottle to increase speed. The cave is closed from November to March to allow the bats to hibernate.
  • The Te'omim cave is a short hike (30-45 min) from the parking area, with a moderate amount of climbing. I suggest wearing closed shoes with good traction. Some of the hike is in the shade but there are stretches of direct sunlight. The cave itself is very dark - bring a powerful flashlight (we used the flashlight on our phones and it was not bright enough). There are many bats in the cave and a pool of water at the end. Very interesting for children, good for a short afternoon hike.
