Pay your respects at Prem Mandir - Shyama Shyam Dham, a temple dedicated to Shri Krishna and elaborately decorated with depictions of important events throughout the god's existence. Construction on this attraction began in 2001, and the temple was opened to the public in 2012, so you can explore the temple and worship freely. Look for the huge, dome-shaped "satsang" hall next door, which is used for large gatherings, and admire the Italian marble and Indian craftsmanship in the architecture. Consider visiting in the evening when the temple and the city light up in a colorful display. • Pretty idols of impressive stature telling stories of Krishna, great canteen with good staff, accommodative to vegan needs if explained. Gardens are for idols to relax in, as if they are real human...

  • Impressive beautiful modern temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Is most fascinating when illuminated in changing colours at night. In the evening, the temple opens at 5:30. Many thousands come here, and there is no overcrowding as the grounds around are quite spacious. On the day I visited, it was crowded inside the temple and I did not go to the upper floor. Around the temple statues and dioramas very beautifully represent events from the life of Lord Krishna. There is a very good cafeteria serving food flavors from different parts of the country. Clean washrooms are available in the complex.
  • One of the finest place in Vrindavan to visit. The majestic temple itself says a lot about this. Only word of caution is that never ever leave your shoes outside the temple premise. They will not even spare your ₹50 slippers. Our story:- We were a group of six friends. While entering the marvelous temple there was long queue and humongous crowd. So in order to save our time we left our shoes outside in barbed area. While entering the temple there was a little thought in our mind that maybe we are watching our shoes for the last time. And I was discussing with one of my friend that if someone will steal our shoes he can make quick 15-20k. After touring the magnificent temple when we returned to the place where we left our shoes it was all gone. Then we started our massive search operation but it was worthless and somehow we managed to calm ourselves that we are not going to recover our shoes. The thief had left only one choice for us is to walk barefoot in order to find nearest footwear store. So never leave your 👞👞 unattended because everyone out there is not as fair as you are.
