  • Visited with family on the occasion of Mahashivrathri. Unlike city temples, it was not crowded. We had a very blissful darshan of Lord Shiva and Bhrama in this ancient temple. There are numerous magnificent Shiva lingams and a huge idol of Lord Bhrama (with 3 heads visible from the front), who is considered very powerful here. The goddess shrine is located outside in the praharam, and has a lush green garden nearby. I was told there are several Lingam shrines in the garden, but due to construction work, we were not permitted to enter. The temple is very clean and nicely maintained. There are a few stray monkeys, so be cautious while handling food items. There are lot of flower stalls outside the temple that sell Pooja items. The drive from Trichy to the temple is also very smooth and a huge car parking is available right outside the temple. Overall a very satisfactory visit to the temple.
  • Brahmapureeswarar temple located in Thirupattur near trichy one of the old and well known temple for god siva and brahma. It's a rare temple which have big idol of brahma and there are many siva lingam for sidhars who worshipped siva. This temple was undertaken by the government of Tamilnadu. People usually brings the jathagam of family members and it will be placed in front of brahma and ordination will be done, it's belief that it will bring new sign and positivity/wealth/and good fortune in life. It's one of the biggest temple which has many small siva lingam temple inside it. There is a small pond and snake puthuu, a big idol of nandhi bagavan also. Amman temple also located separately. It's gives inner vibes post visting the temple, enjoyable devine time with family members. Outside the temple there is Prasad counter and the taste was good. Paid vehicle parking is there. Must visit temple while planning vacations near trichy. Around 35 km from trichy towards chennai highway. Many monkeys are there so keep your belongings safely. Enjoy your visit and keep posted on your experience. திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் 🙏
