Not a great scenery... But relaxing rejoicing experience Good place for evening outings. No much crowded disturbances ... Peaceful ambience

Poomala dam is a small dam located just 4 km from Thrissur Vadakkanchery road from Athani. There is boating available in the water and a small waterfall like structure down the dam and a man made step by step waterfall. There is no entrance fees. There is parking available by the roadside but the road is very narrow though.
