Built around 1840, the museum building features a typical Kerala pattern of architecture with red mount blocks, clay bricks, and granite with unusual woodwork, all surrounded by a well-manicured park. • The museum has a good collection of wooden figurines, masks, idols, etc and should be visited once to view the artefacts from ancient times. It is well maintained.

  • A very nice place to hangout with family and friends. Peaceful atmosphere. The area is very spacious. You can walk along, sit aside or hang around. Very nice place for photography as well. Children can enjoy walking or playing around the area. Zoo, fish aquarium, art gallery and the museum is situated within the compound. A paid parking facility is also available.
  • Napier museum is a double storey d building which was built to exhibit the resources. It mainly has idols, coins and other precious remains of the past. Small kids may not like them much, but those with interest for history will love it. It shows the craftmanship of the ancient times. Marble figures are also there. Can visit both the floors in an hour's time. There are guides around,. They will help you in case you have questions. We visited this after visiting the zoo. One thing to ensure is have money in currency with you to take ticket s, cards and electronic payments do not work here
