Ahupe Ghat, Thane

One of the gems of Sahyadri and Maharashtra. Pahile village is a beautiful place , very helpful people. It takes lot of hard work to reach the village, we may do it for fun but these villagers have to do it for all their routine work as the motorable road takes almost 100+ kms. While we were returning we met at least 3 families with kids climbing the steep route . Hats off to these people who always have smile.on their faces despite the hardship. Their hearts are as big as these mountains. People and places like Ahupe are the reasons why we all love trekking and Sahyadri!!

A place unexplored yet, on a weekend nobody was around. Glad this place is away from city crowd, quite, can hear the sound of water finding it’s way to the lake on tabletop, birds singing uninterrupted. We took a wrong way to Ahupe but that too turned out to be soothing trip. Must visit if you want to get away from crowded places.
