Sitting on the banks of the Ganges River, Sivananda Ashram offers peace and quiet to all visitors wishing to meditate, soul search, or ponder the meaning of life. A great teacher of Yoga, Swami Sivananda, founded the ashram in 1936. Visit his meditation room, the walls of which are inscribed with the swami's wise words.
