  • Khecheopalri Lake is a holistic and one of the most sacred lake. The lake has become a pilgrimage among the people of this region. This lake is now a part of major Buddhist religious pilgrimage here which includes city of Yuksom. This lake is also called as wish fulfilling lake, that is how it is known as here. It is said that any wish that you may have will be fulfilled if you wish in the front of this serene lake. Because of its religious significance, the lake is a government protected one. One astonishing fact about this lake is the fact that you won’t find leaves in the lake. It is said that as soon as the leaves fall down in the lake they are cleaned by the birds. Anytime except monsoon you can visit this holy lake. Only ₹20 per person is the entry fees. It is open from 6am to 6pm.
  • The most historic & sacred place to visit in west Sikkim. Beautiful surroundings & very peaceful but sometimes it gets crowded too. Lake is renowned for its spiritual properties which brings devotees from Hindus & buddist religion. There are many activities surroundings the location which will require atleast 2 hrs to 3hrs to explore. A must visit for all the tourist visiting pelling.
