I was pleasantly surprised to know this shop still exits ! My first visit to People Tree was way back in 1993, then this shop was so ahead of time with the kind of merchandise ( handmade , handcrafted ) trendy yet sustainable. I recall buying a neck accessory made of cycle chain and one made of Silver studs woven tightly with a thick thread. As some reviews mention 'High price" items being sold, well let me assure you that, you cannot put a price on hand crafted, handmade with love , one of a kind , exclusive product ! Just look at all the 'Fast Fashion' around us, the nylons, polyesters, chemically made products that are non bio degradable like Zara, Gap

The hypocrisy of the owners of the "people tree" is that, they advocate everything, from socialism to indigenous, but on being confronted by on of the reviewers (here, on Google maps only), they blatantly show their true nature. Total intolerance towards an unbiased reviewer and support for such high prices. This is nothing but "elitist-socialism", or "weekend-Socialism" with no regard to the actual modest buyer coming to their shop.
