You can take the road or ropeway to get to this point for 2 spots : 1) That offers a view of Naini lake but this view would be interrupted by the forest that has grown over the years. 2) Himalayan snow view point : Pls note if you are going anytime before September-October you WONT get to see the Himalayas. There is no viability at all. The right time to visit for best views is starting October. There are better peak points in Nainital for uninterrupted views than the snow view point. So when in Nainital, please be careful in choosing which view point to go to. Nice place to visit. If you are going off season, you won't see any snow at distant mountains "the himalayas". The ropeway up-down is the interesting thing and people go here for this experience. Kids can enjoy dinosaur park. Sir there and have ice cream and enjoy the cool breeze.
