Waterfall · Nature / Park
At Kempty Falls, immerse yourself in the natural wonders which surround this perennial waterfall. Named after elaborate British tea parties, the falls became a popular picnic spot about 1835. Bring your swimsuit to dive under its cascades (but remember to carry an extra set of clothing). If you intend to fish, stop by the sacred river Yamuna, which is 12 km (7.5 mi) from the falls. You will need a permit from the Divisional Forest Officer to fish. You'll find food and game stalls around the area, as well as souvenir shops where you can purchase a Tibetan memento. • It is excellent point to visit. No need to miss it at any cost. You can feel nature's healing touch and clean water.  more »

  • Nice place to visit on less crowded off season days for better experience as location is constrained by nearby eateries and food stalls. Also cable car available for return journey but not much of distance even by foot. Free public parking available at one end of the road.
  • Great place to visit. Had lots of fun. Must visit in winters we missed snow fall but definitely you will not. Great fall and great scenes around there. Adventure park was also good and safe place for children also. Want to visit there again during snow fall. Enjoyed every moment there.
