  • Good experience getting to know the history of how the tea estates were established and culture, ownership, tools & technology evolved over the years. Proper tea making process from tea leaves to the various varieties of tea powder is explained. There is an option to purchase the tea and few local products as well which are only available at this place for purchase (wild honey, whole strawberries jam). Tea is available to.order online but not the other products.
  • Museum houses a gallery of antiques / paintings dating a century back and traversing through the Tea evolution all through the years. They had a short film screened on the history of the facility and tea making in Munnar in general. There is a tea making tour showcasing the steps involved. Tea can be purchased and there are a variety of the same, didn't like the flavours though ! The journey to the Tea Museum and the estate surrounding makes it a pleasant sight to behold. Ample parking facility available and minimal entry charges .
