    If you are visiting Agra or Gwalior or passing between the 2 , visiting the Bateshwar Group is well worth some of your time & it would be remiss not to include the very nearby Garhi Padhavali Shiva...

    It was a great place and a must visit, but there was no security guard and since it was a isolated place there were a few boys drinking at the back.

    Very nice place, here you can see the real art of sculptures,full of peace and natures beauty. In this place there are many small temples wich is reconstructed and devoted to lord Shiva here you can find many shivling's (शिवलिंग). I recommend, if you are going there first time go there in rainy season.

    It is around 35 km away from Gwalior rail station. It can be developped as a popular tourist spot. Excavation is still in progress. The group of temples already excavated and renovated have beautiful sculptures carved on stones.
