    Must visit temple when you are in Madurai… In the foot hills of annaimalai.. Travelling from Mathuthavani bus stand will be easy. Near the pond there is a small lord Iyyapan temple is there.. don’t forget to visit this temple as well.

    The temple is located a bit far away from Madurai City. But the temple is worth the visit! It is a small and beautiful temple with few deities and Lord Perumal being the main deity. There is a small lotus pond next to the temple which is an added beauty. Buses and autos stand just opposite the temple. So it has a good connectivity.
