Sweeping views make Leh Royal Palace a popular tourist attraction, built in the 17th century as a residence fit for a king--King Sengge Namgyal, in fact. While the exterior seems bare of detail, the interior features numerous exhibit spaces and a small prayer room. The main attraction of this palace remains the roof, offering 360-degree views of the town and the surrounding mountains. • Amazing palace to visit. Entry fee is ₹25 and it has spacing for car parking at the side of road. This is 9 level palace, they have also shown its detail layout with cross section view. On the lowest floor they have the details of World Heritage sites which come in India. For all the history and old architecture lovers this is a must visit place. It is been restored so we found some construction work going on at the entrance. There are total 9 levels to this palace. You actually get the feel of walking through a palace while seeing different levels and rooms. On few levels they have created informational rooms. We literally meditated for sometime and felt so nice, positive vibes. This is another place to catch a magnificent view of the city from
  • Beautiful views of the surreal mountains surrounding the palace and the city. The Palace is well maintained although restoration work is still underway in some places, much more importance needs to be given for the complete restoration of each and every part of the Palace. Photo galleries need more pictures and information about them. All in all a worth visit place.
