Create an itinerary including Guna Cave
Trek through a dense forest to reach Guna Cave, one of the area's most mysterious locations, made popular by the Tamil movie "Guna." Although you cannot enter the cave itself, you can hike around its misty and rugged landscape covered in an entanglement of roots, with monkeys frolicking in the trees. Top off your visit with a trek to a hilltop with a view, from which you can observe a lush valley surrounded by vast rolling mountains. • One of the must visit places when you are in Kodaikanal. It was in our list as a part of our sightseeing. Take tickets, climb few steps and then walk a little. There you go to witness such a beautiful place. The roots of those tall big trees give a different feel. It's amazing. View point is there from which the hill looks beautiful. The cave area is covered as many people feel down inside the cave and lost their lives. Better to enjoy nature. Click a few pictures. Spend some time and come back. Many food stalls are available near it. My visit was during March. I got a very clear and nice climate.
  • 10 rupees entrance for both adults and kids 🙄 and 10 rupees for using toilets! Need to take few steps and walk a bit to reach the forest structured place. Caves is closed and sealed. Only you can enjoy the scenic beauty and there are many eatables available near this spot. So, one can take a break and have snacks nearby.
