Dolphin's Nose is flat rock projecting over a breathtaking chasm 6,600 feet deep. It is an undisturbed area 1 kilometer down a very steep rocky trail beginning soon after Pambar Bridge. Orange juice vendors along the trail offer a welcome rest stop. Beautiful views of steep rocky escarpments rising from the plains can be seen.

  • All you do is walk down a cliff with tree roots all for a view that is average at best. Lemon soda was good. Won't recommend, spend your time elsewhere. Tough hike, not recommended for heat patients.

  • Dolphin Nose View Point, Vattakala: Roads were not there or being relaid till the point of entry and we parked maybe 600 mts away and walked until then. From the entry point we need to trek up/down maybe 2-3 Kms in total. Definitely its worth to hike and see the magnificent beauty of the nature. There is also view point on the back of the Dolphin nose point as well. Surely this place not to be missed.
  • The place is absolutely beautiful, you have an hour or more of trekking (downhill while going and uphill while coming back) around 1 km. The restaurant nearby are good. Be there bit early or it gets dark around 5. You can go there post 5 but the view won't be there. Best time will be around 3 pm
