Kizhunna is a long, long mostly deserted unspoiled beach. If you prefer a few other people around head north to Thottada Beach, not busy but you won't be so isolated.

This a local beach with an awesome view of the sunset. The beach is not wide enough but very long. If lucky you may find some good looking sea shells over the sand. People come and enjoy evening walk, kids play football or cricket over there. Also you can ente the sea and spend sometime in water. there are some resorts as well on the beach. it is not so far from the old thalassery kannur bypass and easily accessible via multiple routes to different stretcha of the beach.
