Kosi River, Jim Corbett National Park

Water Body · Nature / Park
Draining the Himalayas into Tibet in the north and into Nepal in the south, Kosi River provides clean water to enjoy on a trip to the base of the mountain range. During the spring months, the water level can drop to fairly low levels, making it easier to visit certain sites like Gargia Temple, but more difficult for swimming. A selection of resorts sit along the banks of the river and get especially busy during the summer months.
