    The workmanship of 11th/12th Century is to be seen to believe. The craftsmanship of pillars, each different from other is to be seen. The ornaments on every statue is disticnt.

    Beautiful sculptures and carvings. This is historic temple depicting ancient Indian culture. It also has a picturous open grass ground. One should take a guide to understand the beauty of this place. Guide generally charges Rs.300. It has two big bull statues as well.

    This temple is around 750m from the Halebidu Archaelogical Site/Hoysaleswara Temple. It is a Shiva temple. It is a small but beautiful temple not much crowded at all. it was constructed before 1219 A.D and is constructed with Soap stone. Lot of on street parking is available there and very good ambience. This temple is next to Sri Vijayi Parshvanaatha which is a Jain peeth.
