Surajpur Bird Sanctuary, Greater Noida

This bird sanctuary is a lovely one. It’s scenic, well maintained, green and we found a lot of migratory birds. I also saw a snake resting at the pond side. You’ll be on your own to explore so please be safe. It’s a 4 km stretch around the pond and you can easily hike and click pictures. Since I visited on January 1, early morning I could find a lot of birds and experienced a surreal sunrise on a misty morning. It’s well-maintained and lesser-known so you’ll not find a lot of people. It’s been there for 30-35 years.

Beautiful place. A treasure for nature lover. So many migratory birds visit the wetland. A great place for family and friends hangout. If you are into birding then you will love the place for sure. There are watch tower as well. Different types of migratory birds come here. There is no entry fee as well. The road is little rough though. However a nice experience
