Create an itinerary including Ganpatipule Temple
The idol at Ganpatipule Temple representing the deity Ganpatipule stands out for an interesting reason; where deities in other Indian temples face east, this deity faces west in order to guard the western gates. The attraction sits at the base of a hill, which pilgrims walk around as a sign of respect. A popular beach also flanks the temple, where tourists and locals crowd to enjoy the sun, making it a convenient stop on a larger day trip. If you want to avoid the massive crowds, arrive early in the morning, tour the temple, then choose your favorite spot on the beach without competition. • I loved this temple and visited this multiple times. We can cover temple and beach in one go. Beach is also clean with few water sports activities.

  • In the evening you'll get easily access otherwise it's crowded place. It's quite peaceful place. The sound of ocean waves was pleasant. We directly entered into ocean after the temple and after the sunset we started our journey. Temple was very clean than my expectations.
  • Serene and calm. These 2 words describe my experience of visiting ganpati temple and hence Ganpatipule. It is super clean and very safe to visit during covid times. The beach is nice with white sand around. Water sports available for thrill enthusiasts.
