  • Located inside the Moti Daman Fort area and is easily locatable. There are ample place to park the vehicle in and around the church, though during Mass it can be filled to capacity. The church was completed in 1603 and is a masterpiece of intricate design across the door and the altar. There are 5 churches which should be seen too if you are in Daman and the list is available inside the church premises. Exquisite Roman style architecture is evident and brilliant engineering artistry of the Portuguese is demonstrated. The main feature of the church is its painted an gilt wooden altar reredos and pulpit. The richly carved main south door with the elevated facade, lofty ceiling, embellished with the statues of six saints are aesthetic and pleasing. There is a board stating Photography is prohibited inside the church premises though pictures taken with mobile phone are allowed. However, would request to seek permission before going on a rampage with your phone
  • Very peaceful and serene. The architecture is well preserved. The intricate artwork is beautiful. Not too crowded during the day.
