Colorful blooms and lush greenery come alive at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Commissioned on the orders of the former ruler of Mysore, a local kingdom, the gardens trace their origins to the second half of the 18th century. You can explore the extensive grounds that stretch for more than 97 hectares (240 acres), admiring centuries-old species of trees and a number of collections exhibiting different floral varieties. • I enjoyed this park, which is very large and has beautiful trees. You can easily spend 2 hours there. I was lucky to see the Flower Show. It you come in August, it is nice to see.

  • One of the must watch places in Bangalore.. an amazing botanical garden. They do flower show twice a year with a certain theme during Jan and Aug. Points to be kept in mind- 1. Carry cash for entry tickets as they're not accepting any other modes of payment. 2. Avoid taking vehicle during flower show cos of parking issues. Better to use auto/cabs and even better is metro. 3. Timings for flower show is 9am -6pm. There will be various stalls to buy many items. Also, we can buy plants of rare breed and decorative plants as well from there. It's apt for morning walks too. Well maintained. There is a lake as well, the sight of which gives peace of mind. Delightful experience
  • One of the must visit places in Bangalore. Filled with greenery, nice place to take a day out with family. Attraction is glass house and will have a flower decoration during Independence Day and Republic day. Will have to pay entry fee. Located in the city, public transport (Bus and Metro) available. If you are bringing your own vehicles, parking is available. *Be prepared to walk more to see more 🙂
