Vinay took the entire Navgati team on a Malleshwaram hogona walk last weekend and it was one of the best Sundays I've had in a long while. The walk started with a yummy dosa breakfast at CTR and we then spent a couple of leisurely hours walking around the various wall paintings that make up the Malleshwaram art walk. I've been on walks like this in most of the cities I've travelled to and this one stood out for these reasons 1. Vinay's passion for the work he and his organisation do is very evident in the careful design of the walk; clearly hours and hours of effort have gone into curating this experience. 2. It was very well spaced - I've been on walks where the leader wouldn't stop talking...here Vinay's sense of humour kept us all engaged and there was plenty of time allowed for us to enjoy the art; do a little shopping on the side. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this walk not just for anyone visiting Bangalore but also for people who've been here all their lives (I discovered so much about the city I've lived in for over 30 years).

I have gone for two walks with Vinay and both were absolutely delightful - a perfect way to spend a morning getting to know my own city. The Malleshwaram street art walk was mindblowing - Each piece of art had a fascinating story. Vinay made the walk really engaging with his curious questions to us and his storytelling skills. Chikpete was unique too. It was marvellous how we could climb a staircase or walk through a door and discover a whole new world on the other side. I marvelled at how everyone in Chikpete recognised Vinay and offered their time and stories - this kind of goodwill can only come from a passionate interest in people, their lives and the city.
