Water-sport enthusiasts should not miss spending some time on Nagaon Beach. Casuarina trees and clear waters form the borders of this 3 km (1.9 mi) long stretch of black sand. Go swimming, surfing, or rent a boat and head out sailing on the Arabian sea, enjoying the picturesque scenery from the water. The beach remains uncrowded, especially on weekdays, so it won't be hard to find your own corner to relax, sunbathe, or cool down in the generous shade. Note that the area gets heavy rainfall during monsoon season, whereas optimal beach time is from November to March.
