Create an itinerary including Mehtab Bagh
Take a stroll around Mehtab Bagh, a Persian-style garden complex sitting directly opposite the Taj Mahal. Separated from the famous building by a river, the garden reflects the same idea that the spiritual resides in the symmetrical. This particular layout, called a charbagh, involves the division of the ground into four smaller parts with water features and walkways. The pleasant garden also offers a good view of the cultural wonder opposite, often with fewer people obstructing your photos than at the building's front. Take a look at our Agra trip itinerary app to schedule your visit to Mehtab Bagh and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • We paid 300 rp to get inside the park at 6pm because it said they closed at sunset. At 7pm they were kicking us out, while the sun was basically still shinning because, apparently, during the rain...

  • It's a good place for summer 💗 view was grt.
  • We went on a partially Cloudy day.. so the moon wasn't visible. The Taj view from here is best seen in moonlight. So I'd suggest you to visit on a full moon night. But then again, pollution in Agra so bad that there's smog engulfing the city almost always. So, i guess it's up to luck and Fate if you get seen the Taj in a moonlit setting.
