  • I thought it's a very convenient parking garage location for exploring Old Town Ulm. For example, it's only about five-minute walk to the Ulm Minster. You can also reach the Donau/Danube in less than three minutes. There are some restaurants, ice cream shops and cafés nearby for your convenience. I thought the parking fee was a little on the high side even by German standard. We parked there for about three and one half hours, and it was €7.50. By comparison, when we use parking garage/lots in Nürnberg or Würzburg, it's about 6€ for three+ hours. We happened to visit Ulm on Friday, so perhaps it might be a little cheaper on the weekends. Sorry, I didn't take a photo of the fee schedule, so I don't know this for sure. There are about five levels to park your vehicle. I believe first three (Ground and 2A & 2B) levels are reserved parking. When we arrived at this parking garage, there were plenty of parking spaces (you could pick and choose where you wanted to park) on levels 3A & 3B at 11:00. There were still plenty of parking spaces left when departed about 14:45. It's still very early in the tourist season, but I imagine it gets more crowded on weekends and evenings. If you have to use a paid parking...it's a necessary evil...this is a very good and convenient location . I don't think there are too many street parking (usually only with work or resident permit) available in downtown Ulm.
  • Paid public parking lot at the Fishermen's quarter area of the old town in Ulm. Great place to park since it is very close to the city centre... Not expensive as well.
