    A considerable part of the defense walls of Trier have survived. It is surprising they aren't taller. You can stille see the stairs that lead up to the path on the wall to man the shooting holes...

    Nice place to hang out on a sunny day and enjoy the view over the river Mosel. Well preserved part of the town wall which has been partly renovated in the 90´s. Worth a visit.
