Breathtaking views and power of an Alpine river, waterfalls and cliffs in this easily accessible gorge. Pleasant one-way walk through the canyon and a bit of an uphill hike through the forest to get back to the parking lot. The easiest way to return is the new 2021 route. Our dog enjoyed the hike even more than we did! There is a good guest house right next to the parking lot to eat and relax after the hike.
one of the most beautiful gorges in Germany. It is a great hiking place, if I'd have more time I'd go the longest trial. The canyon is pretty especially with sunny day, I wish I could see this place in winter time too. I bet it's stunning. There is 6.5 euro entry fees. You have to go! When we went there it was raining abit and adding to the powerful river below forcing itself through the channels. The gorge can be picturesque with great boulders from above and super high walls towering over the pathways. Such an experience and better than most tourist attractions. Highly recommended
