    Oh, what a pity! The castle is now owned by a private investor from Abu Dhabi! I used to stay in the castle overnight when the friendly family Orttenburger owned the castle and operated a bed and breakfast facility. The historical rooms were beautifully appointed, the breakfast was a feast, all for under $100 per night. You could explore almost all of the castle on your own, feel the rich history and see the beautiful landscape in peace and quiet. Now it is an expensive tourist attraction. Still worth a visit but - too bad...
