Great mountain for a novice skier, however when we visited one of the best runs was closed due to building work. Get boring very quickly. Brilliant views of Oberstdorf, hot chocolates from the cafe...

We went a a fantastic alpine walk around the frozen lake. The walks are very well sign posted and take in wonderful scenery. Plenty of cafes at points along the various routes

An ascent with the Söllereckbahn is a beautiful experience at any time of the year! At the top there are many options for easy to challenging hikes! A beautiful tour leads past the Freiberger See back into the valley!

Nice ski area, very good for beginners and children. Many ski and snowboard courses. Great views and very close to Oberstdorf. Easy to reach with the free ski bus. Large parking lot.
