A most enjoyable, informative small museum covering the history of Neuruppin going back several centuries. The complex consists of a beautifully renovated old building and tastefully done and integrated modern addition with changing exhibitions. We saw the Rene Sintenis show which was a joy. Sintenis spent most of her early life in Neuruppin so it was nice to see her get a show there. This museum is well worth a visit!

A modern museum in an elegantly renovated original town house with new entrance wing added to the rear. We had the place to ourselves during the Corona restrictions. Plenty to explore. Details of Schinkel Fontane and the town in general. Some good exhibits and original documents. The interior also gives a good idea of how the other houses like this used to be like.
