This church is located just under the strairs leading to Castle hill. Next to it, overlooking a playground, a small house with Lebkuchen reminds the fairytale of Hänsel und Gretel.

A holy and in the same time very beautiful church in Oberstadt of Marburg. At religious days, it will be played here and you can always get in and take a look inside or say prayer. It is also a very popular tourist attraction for the people who are visiting the Oberstadt. It would be actually a perfect path to put visiting this beautiful structure on your plan, if you have the intention to visit the castle on top of Marburg. In the front yard of the church there are benches to sit and also you would have a unique view of the whole Marburg.
