BottleStops, Mainz

While looking for wine tour options in the region, we chanced upon BottleStops. Jerome was very friendly and communicative from the start even through our email correspondence. We were a group of friends coming from 3 different locations and decided to stay in Frankfurt as it was the perfect middle location for everyone to get to. Jerome was kind enough to do the journey in and out to pick us up from Frankfurt directly. His van was incredibly comfortable for 5 of us and even had water for all of us and snacks (tidbits to croissants!) for us to refuel in between stops. The first stop was great - the weather was perfect enough for us to do the wine tasting outdoors with the wine owner. And it was really beautiful experiencing the landscape around the wine estates and visiting the cellars. It would have definitely been nice to be able to walk through the wine yard as well. Having said that, Jerome came across extremely accommodating and approachable - so I know if one had specific desires on the tour and communicates that to him, he would try to fit the tour accordingly. All in all, my friends and I definitely had a really great time on our reunion weekend and felt more than well taken care of :)

We booked a private wine tour with Jerome and we had an incredible time. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Germany. We loved the stops that Jerome picked and he had such great information to share with us, both about wine and about the destinations we went to. We would take another tour with Jerome in a heartbeat.
